Here at Wow Pouch, we are always working to further our commitment to the future of our industry, and more importantly the future of our glorious planet.

 

Our teams are committed to being as sustainable as we can and apply as many sustainability principles to our daily routines as possible. In doing so, we have introduced our new Compostable Pouch options.

 

Compostable packaging is not the same as recyclable packaging.

 

Recyclable packaging can be sorted, reused, and repurposed, giving new life to something that would previously have been discarded and not thought of again.

Compostable packaging is organically recyclable and can be recycled with your food waste. This special material needs very specific conditions in order to degrade and breakdown, specific levels of water, carbon dioxide and CO2 for example, but eventually they breakdown just like food waste.

They are lightweight and can be stored and transported easily, helping lower fuel costs, and reduce our carbon footprint when compared to rigid plastics and non-compostable options.
